Is Telepathy Real?
Most people think of telepathy as something that's related to fortune telling or some form of a cliche that really has no understanding of what it actually is. Telepathy is the intuitive ability to know that which is the character of a person a place or a thing, although most people think telepathy is just reading someone's brain or their thoughts but there's much more to it than that.
Many people who are reading this article and who know me realize that I've been a spiritual counselor for over 35 years and I work on the level of the chakras and I've been teaching and writing books about how the chakras work, in my opinion, and that each one is possessed of one or more intuitive abilities that are on all the time.
In most people, these abilities lay dormant because even in our current society these faculties are not really cultivated nor encouraged simply because we've become so ignored in our technologically sophisticated lives and heightened level of intercommunication that we've left off that beautiful part of our life which in the intuition can lead us to an even higher level of awareness and comprehension.
That's exactly what telepathy does. Using the power of your will to allow your intuition to inform your thinking rational mind places you in a level of awareness where you can comprehend a greater understanding than can only be had through the intellect alone.
For example, I was doing some spiritual counseling and energy medicine healing with a fellow in Canada who's language skills placed him where English was definitely his second language not his first. So, as I was working with him, I intuited that he had a brother. When I looked into this intuitive sense, I realized that his brother had passed away five years ago and that I also intuited his brother's name.
When I had finished working on this fellow I decided to mention by asking him how many years ago his brother passed away, even mentioning his brother's name. This fellow was stunned that not only did I know that he had a brother, but that I knew that he passed away five years ago. And then I knew his brother's name.
Why did I tell him this? Because I took the chance that relating this information to him that it was absolutely relevant would help him to understand that the rest of the spiritual consultation and that the energy medicine work was not only real but effective. And that I knew this information was a function of my telepathic abilities that I have developed over many years. Imagine how telling him this information could have sparked an interest in the truth of his own life and his self-empowerment.
This is not so much that I have some amazing abilities, but I have been cultivating them in my practice to help people self-empower and to help people realize that they have these innate functional intuitive faculties that are “on” 24/7; they're never “off.” However, as I said before these abilities lay dormant in most people because still in our culture it is not encouraged.
Imagine how much more you could accomplish if you are willing to trust your intuitive abilities and then apply your fine rational pragmatic mind to the task at hand whether it is talking with another person, or intuiting a situation or circumstance.
