Join Dr. Richard Jelusich (Dr. J) for a channeling of Quan Yin, the Bodhisattva of Compassion.
Dr. J has been channeling Quan Yin since 1993. For many years, he has frequently travelled to Calgary offering these channelings. More recently, he has travelled each March and September especially to create a continuing opportunity for people to gather in the presence and heart-energy of Quan Yin
These twice-yearly gatherings have become a precious part of Dr. J's work in Calgary.
During the channeling, Dr. J enters an altered state of consciousness through which Quan Yin channels divine energy and speaks directly to those who are present, offering teachings, observations, and insights that may touch upon both our individual lives and our shared spiritual journey.
Unlike a question-and-answer gathering, participants do not ask questions during the channeling. Quan Yin shares her heart-energy with those attending, both in person and online, and the experience unfolds according to what arises in the moment.
Her teachings often invite us to look more deeply at our lives—our relationships, the challenges we encounter, compassion for ourselves and others, our spiritual growth, and the ways in which we are being called to greater awareness.
In addition to the group transmission, Quan Yin may work energetically with individual participants. Over the years, those attending have described experiencing the purity and love associated with Quan Yin's presence, a personal energetic shift, individual energy work, and at times a brief message offered directly to them.
The invitation is simply to listen—to be open and receptive to what is offered and to notice what resonates within your own consciousness.
For more than three decades, these gatherings have provided an opportunity to move beyond the activity of the analytical mind and enter a quieter space of listening, reflection, and inner awareness.
This is a precious gathering—an opportunity to simply be present, to receive, and to experience whatever unfolds.
Come with an open heart. Come with your curiosity. And most importantly, come prepared to experience and listen.
The gathering will begin with a short introduction by Bev Wein, ICT Instructor, followed by the channeling of Quan Yin.
Preparing for the Channeling
Participants are encouraged to dress comfortably and, if possible, wear white, whether attending in person or online.
You are also welcome to bring a personal or sacred item that you would like to have blessed by Quan Yin during the channeling.
If attending in person, please place your item on the altar near Quan Yin when you arrive and remember to retrieve it following the transmission.
If attending online, simply have your item with you or nearby during the transmission.
Attending In Person
The gathering will be held at a private residence in Langdon, Alberta, with limited seating available.
You are welcome to attend the Quan Yin channeling whether or not you participate in the morning workshop, The Intuitive Heart: Learning to Listen Beyond the Mind. The workshop and channeling are separate events.
Because seating is limited, please register early if you plan to attend in person.

Attending Live Online
You do not need to be in Calgary to participate. Quan Yin shares her heart-energy with those attending online as well as those gathered in person, and you are warmly invited to join from wherever you are.

This channeling is offered on a donation basis. Donations supporting the work of Light News Institute are gratefully accepted.
About Dr. J
Dr. Richard Jelusich is an internationally known lecturer, professor, spiritual counselor, author, and energy medicine practitioner who has worked with individuals and students worldwide for more than three decades.
He is the founder of Light News Institute and Integrative Chakra Therapy® (ICT), an energy medicine training program he has taught for more than 25 years to over 500 students and graduates. He is also co-founder of the Bamboo Garden Wellness Center in Encinitas, California, and the author of multiple books exploring the chakras, consciousness, healing, and personal spiritual development.
Dr. Jelusich has been an ordained minister in the Universal Church of the Master (UCM) for more than 30 years. He also serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees and Lead Faculty at the California Institute for Human Science (CIHS).
